DC Unveiled New SHAZAM Trailer

Warner Bros and DC are on fire with the new Shazam trailer they have just released yesterday. In this trailer, few of the clips are same as we saw on the first teaser trailer with few more new clips, which by the way, are really awesome. This teaser trailer is just 53 seconds long but makes us want to watch the whole movie right away. And also the studio decided just to stick with “SHAZAM! - Only in theaters April 5” as it’s title. This trailer opens with some scenes from train and from where Billy Batson gets his power. Then, we get a new clip, where more confident Billy runs on top of a building and jumps off, shouting "Shazam", of course Billy changes into Shazam and flies which looks really awesome on screen. The trailer also shares a clip where DC's Captain Marvel [Shazam] is seen fighting Dr Thaddeus Sivana which reminds us of Man of Steel vs General Zod scene from 2013's Man of Steel. Which basically looks mind-blowing. Shazam and his best friend Freddy is also seen making reference to Batman's lair in this trailer.

Firmly set in the DC universe but with his own distinctly fun, family-centric tone, Shazam's screenplay is by Henry Gayden, story by Gayden and Darren Lemke. Shazam was created by artist C.C. Beck and writer Billy Parker in 1939. Christopher Godsick, Jeffrey Chernov, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia serve as executive producers. This is the second trailer for the movie.

A New Line Cinema production, Billy Batson is scheduled to say the magic word “Shazam!” on April 5, 2019.
