Bulbul is written and directed by Binod Paudel and one of the most anticipated Nepali movie of 2019. Trailer for the same was released yesterday on Highlights Nepal’s YouTube Channel.

Bulbul is story of a middle aged woman in Kathmandu city, who drives a Tempo (three wheeled passenger vehicle popular in Kathmandu and other part of Nepal) for her bread and butter. Swastima Khadka and Mukun Bhusal are the main protagonist of the movie and plays Ranakala (ref. IMDb page) and Chopendra Bhusal respectively, with Joes Pandey, Laxmi Bardewa, Dipak Chhetri, Ujwal Adhikari and Alina Karki in supporting roles.
In previously released teaser trailers for the movie (watch the teasers below), we were exposed to a little bit of amity between two lead character and how they will start out as, in the story line but did not slip anything else apart from just few interactions. But the trailer however, showed us few more details about the movie. At the initial glance, it seems that, just like any other typical love story Nepali movie that is already out there, starts with tangle between two leads, in love by the middle and for some reason decides to quits. However, because of the tone and the language, it might tell a different story.
Bulbul will hit the theatres on 3rd of Falgun (15th February, 2019), in time for Valentine’s day.
