Holy Shit! Warner Bros and DC just unveiled official poster and first teaser trailer for their upcoming Joker movie and Joaquin Phoenix looks so scary. Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker is set in the 80's and Joaquin Phoenix in this teaser, looks like he might out-perform Heath Ledger's portrayal of iconic crime prince of Gotham himself, the Joker. According to the IMDb page for the movie, the plot is explained in just one sentence and it goes as: "A failed stand-up comedian is driven insane and becomes a psychopathic murderer." This trailer looks more like a horror than a comic book movie and it might work with darker tone of DC comics.

It opens with Arthur (Joker) played by Joaquin Phoenix some what sane but at the brink of collapsing in term of mental status. I believe, once his mother is dead, he completely converts into the joker. DC's Joker is set to hit the theaters 4th October 2019 in the US.
